Blocked MIME types	Specify the MIME types that are blocked by FileCap. The MIME type is checked after upload. Multiple MIME types can be separated by spaces (Example: application/exe application/x-msi)
Blocked extensions	Specify the file types that are blocked by FileCap. The extension is checked before upload. Multiple extension types can be separated by spaces (Example: exe com bat)
Admin panel IP restrictions	Specify the networks that are allowed to access this admin panel, subnets can be separated by a space and the IP/subnet needs to be in the following format: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (Example: 192.168.10.0/255.255.255.0 10.10.10.0/255.255.255.0) Also the IP address which is currently used to visit the admin panel is visible.
Antivirus	Turns on or off the FileCap antivirus (ClamAV) scanner. The antivirus will automatically update every hour
Sender requires SMS authentication on portal	If this option is set to “On” an SMS token will be required by the sender before login at the portal
External senders needs invite	Specify if External senders need an invite to send files through FileCap. Setting this option to On will result in the following: The portal will be closed for external senders that want to send files to your company. The only way to send a file to your company is by using a invite that is send using the Outlook plugin, MacOS app or iOS APP.
Always require a password	There need to be set a password with every transfer
Always require SMS authentication	SMS authentication needs to be set with every transfer Note: When using the FileCap Outlook plugin, you need to update to Outlook Plugin version 4.2.0 or newer. Also SMS Authentication needs to be configured.

Enable password strength requirements	When this option is enabled the minimum password strength can be set. It is possible to define: Minimum password length Minimum number of lowercase characters Minimum number of uppercase characters Minimum number of digits Minimum number of special characters There will be an “Example password” visible to show what the password could look like with the specified settings. Note: The FileCap Outlook plugin needs to be updated to version 4.1.0 or newer for this feature to work properly. The Outlook plugin will display the remaining characters for the requirements to be met.
Downloader needs valid email	When sending a transfer to multiple recipients they will be asked for their email address. This will check against the original recipients of the transfer. With this setting enabled it does the same for transfers with a single recipient. Configuring this setting to Off is generally advised because it often happens that users have multiple email addresses. A downloader would need to know the exact email address the sender used. Configuring this setting to Off does not disable this check when sending to multiple recipients.
Invitee can use secure sending	Setting this to On allows invitees to use the “Secure send” option (Transfer with password/SMS) and the “Quick send” option in the FileCap portal. When setting this to Off invitees can only use the “Quick send” option.
MSP admin access	Setting this to On allows MSP admins to access this FileCap customer portal. Note: Only available when an MSP license is used and logged in as MSP user.

Removed features

Since FileCap server version 4.0.8 the following menu options are removed:

File transfers need approval by manager	The sent file will need to be approved by a manager, this manager will receive an email and has to approve the file transfer
Approval email address	Specify the email address of the person who needs to approve file transfers.
